It is me Bonita, how are you? I have read about your visits to Stanford

hospital, and I hope they are helping you with your needs and concerns,

, I am reaching out to you because, I have read many e-mails and

reaching out to other members. And you are so up to date on many issues, and

your heart is in the right place of giving and receiving love, and prayers, i

have made several attempts to reach out to my sister and Gabby, but this is

the reason i come to you and my sister is aware of how much we communicate,

and also with the others, so i am asking if possible, you may call Gabby and

my sister to start with small steps, and maybe if they accept this small

love, and honesty. And they realize all of this e-mails are true and sincere,

and compassionate, at baby steps, they we can gradually start within the

group. I know I am asking a lot, but coming from me, I think they feel I

cant relate because of his illness and I don't have it. Well, I am giving you

there home number because I feel they need, to hear from someone who can

relate. They do have a screen name but I am not sure of it, and I think they

have another server.

If I am asking to much, please let me know, I realize your are also

in the same situation and you may be to ill or feel you cant take on another

task. And if this is so, please let me know, I am at a total stand

still and I don't want to upset my Gabby, in any way, I love him dearly, but

I don't know where to turn, right now he is back on predisone because he

oxygen level was at I think. 89 which caused him to be light headed. The

let me wish everyone a blessed and warm Christmas, and my love and prayers to

you all, are from my heart. And also welcome to all the new members and also

well wishes on your birthdays, I am sorry I haven't posted much but it is one

crazy Dec. first they want me to have carpitunnel surgery on the right hand,

but now I have to wait until after Jan, 2002 because my sugar levels are

high, I need not say more because you all can understand Drs. orders.

lololol..... and my daughter (Yolanda) who 11, is on school tutoring because

she has this phobia on large crowds and I am sure you all can relate leaving

elementary school and heading into a middle school, PE the not seeing her

friends she had in 5th so it is hard. And then my son...., 16 who is

ADHD and he wont take his meds. and it is one day after another with the

school calls, and if we let me outside for a while with his friends he leaves

and it is hell trying to find him because he feels the outside world isn't

that bad and no one will hurt him. and he doesn't show up till 9pm or a

little later, he doesnt grasp to what can happen in this world of pain and

confusement Really i don't understand it all myself, but i am hanging in

there, i still run my nonprofit so i need to stay focused on the issues of

all what is happening. So i think i have posted enough to everyone, i think

this makes up for all the posts i haven't returned, please still keep me

posted i do read them but i need quiet time to respond and right now as you

read i am somewhat busy! lololol (a good thing lolol) well remember to

all of you, your all in my prayers and i pray one day we can find a cure for

all the pain and discomfort one must go threw with this illness. I think of

the group, (my extended family) everyday and I pray each night each and every

one of have a pain free days and wish you all to have a blessed and Merry

Christmas and a New Year (2002) and many more days of joy and happiness. I

send all my love to each individual and prayers to everyone.

So good to see a post from you! Gosh do you meet

yourself coming and going? Sorry to hear that your

children are having a time of it too! Wish we didn't

have to worry so much about them that is for sure.

They have to learn in their own ways and that is the

rough part of us parents who already know what there

is out there in this cruel world. I will be sending

good thoughts and prayers for you and your son.

I was scared to start school every year. My Mom would

practically have to get me on the bus herself. I was

afraid I would never make it through school period. I

was not the type who liked to make new friends. I

didn't have many all through school and only a few who

I met in High School even remember me. (Funny that

isn't how I am now ask anyone in the group that saw me

in Okieland)LOL Things will work out for your

daughter it just takes time for some of us!

Now for your sister and Gabby. It has to be hard for

you there too! You are such a sweet person to do all

you do. If there is anything that I can do to help

please let me know. It would help them both so much

just to post to us once in awhile if not all the time.

I was so scared and felt so lost until I found this

great group of people. You feel so isolated when you

are told you have RP. The not knowing what is going

to happen to you and the other is the scary

information that my Dr. and most Dr.'s have to give

us.

I will keep you and all your heart aches in my prayers

and thoughts. Keep us posted on how the carpeltunnel

Bonita, I will give you a call this week and then I will call your sister

and/or Gabby. You aren't asking too much!!! Do I have to drive all the way

to your house ( a whole 20 minutes) lol to make you stop thinking you are

asking too much??? LOL

You know I will help you and your family in any way I can. You are the one

who encouraged me to go to Stanford. I thank you a million times over. Does

Gabby see a Dr. Doyl, she is a pulmonologist and told me she just had a young

boy transfered to her with RP from the childrens clinic since he is too old

now. Just wondering if it was him.
