Hi Glenda

I am doing okay. The Doctor that i'm seeing in San Diego is a Chief Pulmonary specialist. RP is one of his specialities. I have a stent in my Left Main Bronchial and that was put in in 99'. This doctor replaced that one because tissue started growing around my first one. It was a wire mesh stent, but my new one is Silastic. I havent had any new flares in a while.

I use to see this doctor in Arlington,Tx named Kier. I visited him this past week and he told me that after i was hospitalized in Jan 99', He had diagnosed 3 or 4 more girls my age with RP. I was 24 or 25 at the time.

I'll let you go,

i just didn't want you to be worried about me. I'm okay, this doctor is cleaning up the mess that was already made. Like iliminating scar tissue that can be removed. He doesn't have to recut me everytime he goes in to do something, which is great. I was really disappointed Sunday morning when i woke up with my eye being so sensitive to the light and red. It went away. This morning i am fine. I'll be flying out tomorrow morning at 9:42am headed for the West Coast. So i will post and let you know how everything went. He will be changing my new stent for the second time. He says i'm doing fine but there is scar tissue that he needs to cover. I will talk to you later, bye
