Guest guest
hi everyone i am finally this morning taking time to read and post. yesterday was a really horrible day for all invovled. At school where i work, we were in lock down all day, for safety sake, we have a very large FBI cener less than 15 miles from the school and all of the schools in our area were place in lock down mode. that means that all doors are lock and some one is gurading each door. No one could come in or leave the school without all proper precautions being taken. We had hundreds of parents and kids leaving school, and they could only leave with a parent or grandprent after ID was taken. Also, my son was in Washington DC when this all started, as you know is he a long haul truck driver and was making a delivery to the area when this happened, needless to say i was frantic for a while, he finally called and checked in and told us he got in his truck and headed south and did not stop till he got to North Carolina. He is fine but really shook up. Also just got word that my nephew by marriage, its my husbands brothers grandchild, was at work in the pentagon when the plane hit, no word from there yet. I am just so thankful that for the most part all of my family is fine, scared shook up but fine. We all need to keep a watchful eye around us and on our families, and those we love, and remember we never know, Rp although is a horrible thing, is small in comparison to all of this, Lets live & love, and remember all of can no longer do this. This one was way to close to home for me. dawn __________________________________________________
