Oil I am using something called Artisana Raw Coconut Butter which is coconut meat blended back into the oil. It's soo good. I've read other posts (and checking Amazon to find it cheaper) and people are using oil. Is the butter legal? http://www.amazon.com/Artisana-Organic-Coconut-Butter-16oz/dp/B000WV153I/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_cart_2 Actually it's half the price at this link but I've never tried Tropical Traditions either. Would you trust this product? It's from Raw Reform. Never have tried it. http://www.amazon.com/Organic-Cacao-Cocoa-Butter-Chocolate/dp/B00168GTX2/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_1 Debbie houston cd (thanks!) Guest guest
Thanks for the link. That's a lot better price. I don't really know what to do with it yet so not sure I'll order right now. It just depends-maybe I should so I'm not tempted. The coconut butter--I only use a small amount at a time. It makes a huge difference in say a bowl of beans or fried eggs lol. It sure seems like white ch-c-l-te to me. Good stuff. Guest guest
If you drink coffee then the cocoa & coconut butters are good in that. Melted cocoa butter in baked goods is especially delicious. I always put it in brownies and it gives just a hint and aroma of you know what. And of course you can add it to icing or use in candy. But that is all sweet foods…If you do order from ChocolateAlchemy than be aware that it arrives in a block or hunks of a block. It is tossed into a large baggie and is not in a neat container, just to let you know. Carol From: BTVC-SCD [mailto:BTVC-SCD ] On Behalf Of Debbie Thanks for the link. That's a lot better price. Guest guest
I totally skipped the sale as I’m good with TT coconut oil. I’ll try their other coconut products next sale. I appreciate you posting about it when their sales come up. I totally prefer TT coconut oil to others I’ve tried.
