" Geez, I wish these doctors would get together!

I'm on metho and my doctor put me on Vioxx. Why

can't they all agree on a course of treatment and

be done with it? Love, Judy "

Judy, etal, I'm on a course of relafen right now

and I hope it works. I was on vioxx for about 4

mos before I got off it because of the toxic

warnings when used with MTX. I loved Vioxx. I

never had a problem and in a way, it's been the

best anti-inflamm for me, lasting the full 24

hours (two pills am and pm). Before I began trial

of relafen, my PCP told me that vioxx would be ok

as long as my liver panels were checked every

month for toxicity and since I had no problem

before, he didn't think I'd have a problem being

back on it. Anyway, I'm trying relafen and

already I can feel pain when I get up in the

morning. Ugh!

When choosing the lesser of two evils,

I always like the one I haven't tried.
