Guest guest
Hi Jo, I don't post often but just read your ? about TMJ. My ENT prescribed Vioxx for my stress induced TMJ, which was just diagnosed a couple of weeks ago. Once the pain in the joint subsided, I quit the Vioxx. This drug is not, however, covered by my insurance, so I had to pay $85 to fill it. It did the trick and I am to follow up with my dentist to have a mouth guard made to wear at night while I sleep to prevent the clenching that I am apparently doing while sleeping. All this of course I relate to my husbands constant and very loud snoring! Who would think one can stress while attempting to sleep! Just me, Kathleen (NY)
