If it continues, please see an eye specialist. Your PCP is a quack, so I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Also soak a washcloth in warm water and put it on your eye in the AM. It will help loosen up the crusty's and help you get that eye open. It's soothing to the eye too.

Did he give you any antibiotic drops for the infection? I probably already know the answer to that.........please see a specialist if it continues Glenda. You only have one set of eyes you know.

.. This morning I woke up with my right eye all crusted shut. Last night it was kind of scratchy like it had something in it. Then all day today it was the same. I called the PCP and went in. He says he couldn't see anything in it and thinks it is probably and infection
