RP is treatable and there are ways to control it. I lead a normal life. Well normal for me!LOL You will just have to take this a day at a time for awhile until they get her on the appropriate meds for him. Try not to be scared. There are enough of us out here to give her a shoulder or you or your Dad. We are here for you all! It sounds like she is headed on the right foot. She is going to a specialist. There are several meds that she can be put on that should work for her. It is having a good doctor who watches out for the RP patients best interest! Take care and lots of love Glenda Well I have wrote once on this board, and I am doing it again. I really need help. My Mom is a very strong person and I Thank God everyday that she is my mom. God truely blessed me with an angel for a mother. Well she is very upset and sit at this computer searching for answer about this RP. She stresses out on what to write to you, and gets depressed reading all the posts. She is completely lost, and needs help. I am trying to stay strong for her, while my Dad has seem to shut down for now. I think it will pass once there are some answers with the Dr. She has a appt. tomorrow in Houston TX, with a specialist. I was very thankful she got in rather quickly, at one point she was to wait till January. Please keep her in your prayers, as you are ALL in mine. Please let her know this is the place to vent, cry, and pray together.
