Guest guest
Ann, I am not an expert on this subject, but I do know that RP can damage your throat. If your throat has been attacked by the RP, A scope could cause more damage. Have the doctors examine your throat, and ask them to use a baby scope. I wish I could give you more info. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I know this has been posted before but can't seem to remember. What was the reason for not having this done to the throat. I know this is short warning but I have an appointment in the morning for this test and I need to get some feed back. They are doing a biopsy on my lungs. Thanks so much, Ann

Guest guest
Thank you Heidi, I remembered reading the post about it but forgot the particulars. I have to meet with the pulmonologist before hand. He is knowledgeable with Rp so he probably already knows but I don't want to take any chances. Thanks Again, Ann Re: Endoscopes Hi Ann , this is Heidi and I like to tell you what the told DON when the want to do a scope the need to use PEDIATRIC INSTRUMENTS.The smaller ones do not cause the damage as adult size can. Hope this helps. Good Luck and we be thinking of you Heidi > Hi Everyone, I know this has been posted before but can't seem to remember. > What was the reason for not having this done to the throat.
