Btw - Just a little hope for newbies.. About 2 - 3 weeks into SCD I got a terrible flare - BD (hope I'm using the acronyms right). I switched back to the intro and basic foods (pescetarian version). About a week ago I went back to normal bowl movement. Not even blood! In the past - any time I had a flare like this - I was running to my GI for steroid enemas. But not this time! I'm becoming a believer of the healing powers of SCD.That's great! I love hearing success stories =) Peace =)Alyssa 15 yoUC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)Azathioprine 50 mg 1x per day

Thanks Alyssa! We started the diet mostly to help my husband out - hopefully

I'll have good news to share from him soon too.

Have a great day!
