Marilyn,

I have seen this happen with people on several occassions through the years.

It usually is of no significance. If you were to develop cardiac

complications (shortness of breath, chest pain, circulatory problems,

numbness and tingling your extremities--especially the side with the low

B/P) I would make sure the Dr. is aware of the significant difference in

both sides. Most Dr.'s offices don't check B/P in both arms, but in your

case, I would make sure they always did!
