Mom, I have had TMJ forever... LOL I was dx over 25 years ago.. About 8

years ago they found I had NO cartiledge at all in either joint. I know how

painful it can be... What I have found to help was massaging right below the

ear, where the jaw joint is. It helps me alot... Also a splint, ( a football

or sport mouth piece works well ) to wear at night. Lots of anti

inflamatories too. LOL

My mom had 3 surgeries (2 on one side and one on the other) for TJM. They

were successfull, but Really painful and along recovery. Don't want to go

there for me. LOL
