Guest guest
Great, found a banana latke recipe with matzo (I've never had it so I don't know the consistency, etc.). Will use 1:1. Guest guest
I don't know if you're looking for a recipe at all but I found a matzo ball soup recipe that's SCD safe (provided you make your own chicken stock and don't use store bought of course) on Elana's website: http://www.elanaspantry.com/matzoh-ball-soup/ Stacey > > > > Is it cup for cup subbing in a recipe? > > > > > > I would, at least the first time! <g> > > > > — *Marilyn > > * New Orleans, Louisiana, USA > > Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 > > Darn Good SCD Cook > > No Human Children > > Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund > > Babette the Foundling Beagle > > > > * * > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Thanks, I'll check it out. I actually found banana latkes with 1-1/2 c. matzoh meal so I was going to try it with almond flour. Since you read her blog, I read in the comments something about grapeseed oil instead of butter but grapeseed oil is not in the recipe. Do you know if that just means 'grease' the bowl? If not, I only have walnut oil to use. Guest guest
I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to since the recipe doesn't seem to call for butter or oil of any kind. That said, she does often use grapeseed oil in place of butter because it has a kind of buttery flavor. Great for folks who don't tolerate dairy!
