Guest guest
Yep, this is true, but I work in different places everyday. I work several hospitals, nursing homes, etc......and the nursing homes have had notices up several times this year about bad infections going around and not to enter if you are sick or unless absolutely necessary. Of course, it is necessary that I go, but I have yet to get anything they have. I often wonder about this. I do however hold what little breath I have, if someone is coughing violently in front of me or sneezing without covering their nose in front of me and I do wash my hands religiously. I guess that's what's saved my ole butt. I've been reading the responses to this and I find this very interesting how we aren't getting as sick as we use to, despite the fact that we are on this immune suppressants. W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> << I thought thatbeing immunisuppressed meant that you weresusceptible to all kinds of infection. >>, you are correct... We are susceptible to almost anything... I was told not to be around any one who has had a live vaccine such as polio or measles. Don't put yourself at risk by being around anyone who is sick... Guest guest
i HAVE MADE SPECIFIC REQUEST NOT TO BE AROUND INMATES. I AM PERSONALLY WORRIED ABOUT AIRBORN DISEASE'S SUCH AS T.B. AND HEPATITIS. DR T. SAID T.B. IS MY GREATEST THREAT AT THIS POINT AND BEING IN A LIBERAL STATE SUCH AS I AM I AM CAN NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THEIR MEDICAL RECORDS TO KEEP MYSELF SAFE. SO I AM DESTINED TO WORK THE 11-7 SHIFT AND WORK IN A CONTROL ROOM UNTIL I RETIRE. BUT I GUESS I SHOULD BE LUCKY I AM STILL ABLE TO WORK..CHUCK
