Guest guest
First of all Happy Birthday Jim, Eileen & Carolyn! Talked to my PCP yesterday & I have an appointment with a new Rheumy on the 27th. In the same building as my PCP. I don't know why she didn't refer me to him first when I was diagnosed, so we'll see. I asked her if he had any other RP patients & she said quite a few. I don't think she has really looked that closely into this & doesn't realize that there aren't a whole hell of a lot of us out there. But I am going to go in with positive thoughts & we'll work on it together. It's basically what I have done with the other one. Each of us have to be handled as an individual anyway. I will keep my appointment with my regular one tomorrow because I will be going down to 40 mg of pred on Sunday & need to see what she has to say. So far so good. It's just so frustrating. I have been having a real good week. Other than my eyes bothering me from too much scrapbooking over the weekend & the burning in my chest I am doing good. I have been doing a lot of resting which I have found really does help. My legs are like jello but oh well. I am not near as exhausted as I was when I had back to back Dr. visits 3 days in a row. It's an adjustment to have to learn to take things slower when you are used to doing what you want when you want, but at least I can get out.
