Kim you & your mom are in my prayers. Hope the transfusion helps her. Kim

just remember take one day at a time. I know it's easier said than done

especially when you are going through it. I was only diagnosed 6 weeks ago

so this is new for me. Some days are good & some are bad. Your mom is very

lucky to have such a devoted daughter.

Sue M. I think my children are also in denial. My oldest is a teacher with

a masters & 5 certificates who I think is pretty smart. I gave her

paperwork on the disease & she said oh it didn't really say much. We talked

with our son-in-law last week when he came for dinner & explained that this

is nothing to sneeze at. I think that our children think we are invincible

& since it is something they never heard of & my ear is better then there's

nothing wrong. It's just going to take time. Although I must admit that my

grandson has been sick since halloween so maybe she just can't deal with it

right now.
