I know I have been able to eat everything so far too. This morning my family and I went to breakfast I got a kids meal at Chubby's. I also ate a piece of potato. I had gotten the potatoes country style. I was stuffed. I used to go in and order the 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, hashbrowns, and then I would get my toast as a abiscuit with gravy, and I would order a pancake. I would eat it all and drink about 2 glasses of soda. I felt so good eating and not filling sick afterwards. We all giggled because our breakfast tab used to be over $40 and today it didnt even hit $30. Hubby and I then took our son to the skate park with the dog, and then I walked the dog home. I'm also getting ready to go on a bike ride with my husband to go rent movies for tonight. I asked h!im if he wanted to go to the highschool track and run, he looked at me like I was insane. Guest guest
Please pass on to her that we are thing about her and it will be better soon. sweetnlow20012001 wrote: Good morning. I just wanted to let you all know that I spoke with this morning. As some of you know if you read the post that she had surgery yesterday at 1:00. She did not sound like herself and I felt so bad for her. She said that she is in pain and sore and feeling nauseated. I reminded her about the deep breathing with the spiral (thingie) and to make sure she walked. She said she felt worse today than yesterday. She should be going home this afternoon. I was unable to get a deliver of flowers to her yesterday but was successful to get it along with a teddy bear to her. It should be there by 10:00 so I am hoping that will make her feel a little bit better. I felt bad because I did not have pain post surgery but I was bloated from the water and CO2 they put in you. Please keep her in your prayers as she recover and thank you in advance.Pam Marsh
Guest guest
I will. I spoke to prior to reading your email and she is doing a little better. They removed her iv but because of the the self induced drip medication, she got sick to her stomach and has not been able to keep anything down (gelatin). So Dr. Baggs has requested that the iv be placed back in. I am not sure if she will go home today or not. If she does I will post and let you all know. I think that with the anestesia still in her system, that is not helping either but boy she sure sounded back like ...even managed to put her oldest daughter in check and that made me feel good because I know I had my old back. Thanks for listening and I will keep you posted. Guest guest
Pam will be in my prayers and thoughts, and each day it will get better. I did have pain, really bad gas, really bad muscle pains do to my Fybromialgia and just cried a few days. Even though I didn't have much time to think about my surgery since right after was my husbands surgery, then my mothers 2 weeks later. I realize now that was a blessing, I was to busy with their surgeries to feel the pain as bad as it was. I will pray that the pain passes fast, so can be happy to be on this journey. You take care.
