Update on Dwight Cummings & Judee Babington

For those that don't know me I am one of the ones that send the jokes. It is my Dad (80 years old & looks & acts like 60) that has RP. He is still in remission on 10mg of MTX and 5mg of pred. Doc put him on lipitor for awhile and he really stared feeling bad, so he went off of that and is feeling good again.

I have been on pred. since Dec 1999 for Polymalgia Rheumatica. Have tried several times in the last few months to get off of it and really having a hard time, but off now for over two weeks. Have really bad muscle pain. Put me on Celebrex and it has helped some. My shoulders and arms really hurt from pulling myself out of chairs, into cars, etc. But trying to hold out this time.

When I was on high dose of pred. 60mgs and sed rate was high 104 I had the night sweats too.
