I am horrible at geography, but maybe this can

help.....also don't know how far you are willing to

travel.

We are going to see Dr. Bock in Rhineback, NY (we live

in IL) in June....and I heard Dr. Nuebrander is in NJ

(correct me if I am wrong, listmates.)

I am sure their are others. We started with Usman

(basically in our backyard-thankfully), and are now

getting other opinions as that never hurts.

Hi...

If you go to this link (you may have to copy and paste it into your tool bar)

and go to the PA section, you will see a list of DAN doctors in PA. Yes, Dr. N

is in NJ (Edison to be exact) and I have heard good things about him. As a

matter of fact, I just spoke w/ his brother Rick on Friday.

Good luck.

you might want to join the pittsburgh_autism group also. It's

run by our local autism link office. If you ask on there you will

get a lot of information. I actually just asked that question myself

on there and got about 7 personal email replys.

After everyones suggestions I made an appoitment with Dr. Faber. He

is at the Children's Institute in Pittsburgh. www.amazingkids.org

The best thing is that he is a true MD so medical assistance and most

insurances cover him!!!

He does recommend the GFCF diet and supplements. I just got an

appoitment with him and haven't seen him yet so I can't give a true

recommendation but he is who most of the mother's of autist children

recommend.

Faber is suppose to be AWESOME. He is not a DAN! doctor though. He is

biomedical. He does not believe in chelation... if this is something you want to

pursue down the road. He has a 13 mos wait list. There are no DAN! docs worthy

of trust here in PA. stay away from any in PGH PA. Have you joined this group??

gfcfkids@... Lots of Moms and Dads highly recommend this Doc. He is a

Medical doc too. Has a child with Autism. Case western grad. Suppose to be one

of the best on the east coast. YATA YATA YATA.. He is in Cleveland.

There is a several month wait list for him. is his liasion-- she has

two kids with Autism. She can get you started on things over the phone . There

is a fee. I have consulted with them on the phone. Have been pleased. We have an

appt set for March. not overly pricey either. You can call their office to get

prices. They have two offices. One in Cleveland and Columbus. HTH and
