No special medicine, just fleet to clean your system out, it's not good, but it's all worth it to get to the other side. You'll be fine, just getting a little nervous as time gets closer and this is very normal. Take care, we're here. Donnada6bearz wrote: I have my marathon appointments starting on the 29th. I still need to pick up my perscriptions. I'm mostly excited can't wait to start my path on a new life. A little scared not knowing what to expect. JUst trying to stay focused. So if you don't mind me asking what kinds of med's do you have to take prior to the surgery? Or what kind of prep do you have to do? I'm just curious with the different doctors.> >> > Has anyone else gone through surgery during the holidays. I've never had to do fleet is it drinkable??? And it just makes you

sick?

My doctor gave me a couple of different antiboitics to take the day

before and to start on a blood thinner the day before and the blood

thinner is a shot I have to give myself in my stomach.

We had to stop taking any medicine 3 weeks before surgery that would thin our blood. So to hear about the blood thinner that you have to give yourself in the way of a shot in your stomach is something totally new to me. Take care.
