Guest guest
Hi Everybody..... After a year and a half of trying one more time to lose weight on my own using the 1200 calorie a day eating plan, I made the decision to proceed with the surgery and I was given a date today. I will be having my surgery on Pearl Harbor day, December 7, 2005. I'm happy to say that Doctor Baggs thinks he will be able to do LAP on me now that I've lost a considerable amount of weight along with my body fat being redistributed since I first saw him in October of 2004. I know I haven't been posting much lately but I read all the messages everyday and I have been following everyone's progress. I have to say that the only concern I have about having the procedure is my lack of support at home so I'm certain that I will become a regular poster again very soon because I know I can count on getting support here. One thing for sure, the things I have learned here and in support groups made it a lot easier to make this decision so I thank you all for that. Guest guest
Gordy, I am so happy for you that you finally made a decision one way or the other. December 7th is so close. You definitely have support here. I have to say I didnt have support at home at the beginning either but once my husband saw the weight come off of me and saw me come out of my shell he has been very happy. He had always told me he wouldnt enjoy me thin, but I think what he was trying to say was he was thankful for my fat shield. You will be in my prayers.
