Guest guest
Hi ALL! I just wanted to share! I did it! I am back in the ONES! 198 to be exact as of this am! I let out a small scream. lol I was hoping to hit this mark before Thanksgiving so another personal goal has been achieved. YAY! I have 8 lbs to go until I am at 100 lbs lost since surgery 6/28/05. I can't believe it has come off so fast. The sagging skin is another issue though, it is getting really scary to look at my legs. Strange feeling to walk and not feel my legs rubbing together too. Has anyone else noticed that they walk differently? I am thinking a girdle won't be a bad investment now for my stomach. Anyone have a good one to recommend if you use one? Going to the Sierra's for the Holiday and I look forward to being able to hike around and not get winded so fast from the altitude. I might even try cross country skiing if there is enough snow around. Hardest part of the Holiday will be avoiding the stuffing!!!AHHHHHh Stuffing, my big downfall. SO far I haven't had any carbs at all since surgery, so I think I will be okay. Don't crave them, so I must not need them. I am sure craving some beef though! Have been chicken to try that still. All other foods I have ever tried I haven't had a problem with, but this could be the deal breaker. I will be good and wait it out till the 6 month mark. Anyway, thanks for letting me share. I always try to keep up on the posts here and see who had surgery and who is scheduled. Congrats to Gordy! You won't regret having surgery. It took me a 1 1/2 years to get up the courage myself. Congrats to the newbies with dates and those that just flew out of surgery! Keep up the good work! Happy Holidays Kay 336/290/198/? (goal 130-140) 6/28/05 Surgery Dr Baggs- First day of the rest of my life!

Guest guest
Kay, congrats! So proud of you. As far as the stuffing, you probably can't eat enough to do much damage if any. Congrats on the carb thingie to. I think the longer you stay away from it the better off you would be. You just never know. Enjoy your trip and above all things, ENJOY!
