Guest guest
I went to my orientation 2 weeks ago. That night I started the meal plan that they gave us. I have followed it to a tee. I have measured everything I eat before I put in my mouth. I have eaten 3 x's per day with no snacking. I have been drinking at least 64 oz of water but usually more and I started taking my vitamins. When I weighted in at orientation my weight was 324. I'm 5'8 " . I started walking on my treadmill every day at least 2x's sometimes 3. If its a nice day out like it has I take my dogs for a nice long walk. Before I would take them to the park, but I would always just drive them and let them run free. I have already started good habits and making good changes. I just wanted to let everyone know that when I weighed myself this morning before getting into the shower (so I was naked) but my scale said 302. 306 with clothes on. So in 2 weeks I have dropped some pounds. I meet with Beth on Dec 13th and I cant wait. Can anyone who has already met with Beth tell me what to expect? Also when do they tell how much weight I will have to lose? Thank you to everyone who post Q's and A's. It really does help me and others out. Guest guest
Are you meeting with Beth Wagner in Richmond? If this is the Beth you are talking about, she is wonderful. You don't have to start losing weight until orientation, if you do before at Richmond it doesn't count. Only weight lose is after your weigh in on orientation day, then you will need to lose the 10% to be able to have surgery. Hope this helps. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Guest guest
Hi , I also am out of SSF and I had my orientation on 10/18/05. I did everything on the 1200 calorie meal plan and started my vitamins also except for the exercise which I am now going to the gym every other day. I have cut out all soda, caffeine and cut down on the carbs and think twice before I put something inn my mouth. I have my appt. with Dr. Stiles on Dec. 9th and that is when she will tell me how much I have to lose. I also weighed myself a few weeks ago and so far have lost 7 lbs (hopefully I have not gained). I think once I start working out it will make a huge difference. Maridiana wrote: I went to my orientation 2 weeks ago. That night I started the meal plan that they gave us.
