What is the theory? Metals stuck in the pancreas? Is it complete

therapeutic treatment (addressing metal trappers in diet, limiting

toxic load generally, on top of this drug) or just the drug? What are

the side effects of the drug? Compounded? Risks? Is the child

prediabetic? Are there other metals in the child that still must come

out and may take up residence in the pancreas?

My niece has been on Actos for awhile, and she has done very very well

on it. She doesn't have apraxia, she officially has a language-based

learning disorder but would probably qualify for a spectrum dx of some

kind. When they took her off the Actos recently, her behavior

regressed A LOT (hitting kids at school, etc.) That was my sister's

confirmation that it really works for her, so she put her back on it a

month ago, and she's been a dream since then. I don't personally know

a lot about it, but the Bock book is wonderful!

Thanks for the information! Was your neice also on vitamin

supplementation with the actose? Bock's book is the best. I have

told so many about his program and people are amazed at the

possibilities of healing.

She does quite a few vitamins, mB12 shots, allergy shots, mostly

organic mostly natural mostly GFCFSF diet, probiotics, fish oil,

digestive enzymes, 40 dives of HBOT, epsom salts baths, and she's

considering chelation therapy. I'm probably forgetting some other

stuff, too. The difference off Actos was VERY noticeable. Since

going back on, she's had good behavior certificates 30 of the last 31

school days. Yay!

My niece sees Dr. Elice on LI, who is in practice with the

more 'famous' Dr. Boris. Boris is mentioned briefly in the Bock book

as one of the trailblazers of biomed. I was happy to see that our

doc is mentioned in there, too. It's always good to know that you're

seeing a doctor who is well-respected and knowledgeable.
