I just got off the phone with the s about the FAB. His wife

mentioned someone here had gotten them covered through tricare and that

I might want to try and contact her. Her name is . If your on

this board could you please tell me how you got the shoes covered!

I just spoke to the 's via email about TRicare covering the shoes, but I

just sent in the claim a couple days ago. I'm not sure if they'll accept it or

not. However, the Tricare hanbook does say that they cover orthopedic shoes

when they are part of a brace.

We have Tricare ourselves and they do pay for our sons shoes/ bar.

After Tricare denying our claim...my sons doctor wrote a detailed

letter explaining how the use of the shoes eleviates the cost of

surgeries, etc.... Tricare then approved our claim. Good luck to

you
