Guest guest
Did you just pay out of pocket to the s and then take your bill to tricare and hopefully they will reimburse you? Yep! That's exactly what we did... and I have no idea what will happen next. I sent in the invioce/receipt for the shoes/ bar with a diagnosis and prescription for ortho shoes/brace from Dr Ponseti. WE used the DD Form 2642 to send in the claim and attached the invoice and Dr.Ponseti's stuff. The thing is: WE pulled GAbe out of Tricare Prime and placed him in Tricare Standard, so we can self refer and, of course, have Dr. Ponset write the recommendation. boothejennifer wrote: I just got off the phone with the s about the FAB. Guest guest
I don't know anything about Tricare, but did you try telling them how much the brace ACTUALLY costs, compared to the amount the local shop wants to charge you? That is an unbelievable mark-up! No wonder our medical insurance and co-pays are so high! Perhaps if you tell them how much the shoes/bar really cost, they may allow you to just order it yourself. I've had some luck with that. I just got off the > phone with the s about the FAB.
