Aidan had his tenotomy yesterday at the hospital and the surgeon was

discouraged w/the tightness of his feet following the procedure. We

are going back next week to have him put under again and be re-casted

to see if the ligaments have stretched to his liking. I am just

wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I'm not sure how

discouraged we should be.

-My son was also re casted after his tenotomy. Two weeks in our case

but he wasn't put under to do it. The doctor felt that would help his

flexion. At our last visit 3 months ago they were still a little

concerned about his degree of dorsiflexion and were talking another

tenotomy down the road but at our visit Friday he has improved. Don't

let this discourage you. I think once they start cruising and walking

the tendons stretch further.
