Guest guest
, thanks for the update on Connor. It's good to hear that he is doing so well! Also, I just wanted to give you the heads up about reducing times in the brace. Although some doctors are still going right to nights and naps immediately following the full-time wear, Dr. Ponseti's recommendation is wean them gradually. There have been a number of parents on here lately whose children experienced a relapse after having dropped hours in the brace so drastically - so we've learned that the conservative approach is best. You can read Dr. Ponseti's recommendation in the following link: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/nosurgery4clubfoot/message/30939 Hope this helps, Daiga and Owen, 02/04/03 Unilateral LCF, FAB 14/7 > just wanted to give u all an update on connor.
