Guest guest
Hi all, I had my 3 week follow up appointment today and everything seems to be going ok. I also got to see Liz as well so I don't have to come back to NY next week. What a relief that is! Dr. G started me on Actigall and Iron supplements today. The big thrill for me is that I don't have to crush my meds and have chewable vitamins anymore. Yay! For some reason, Flintstones chewables don't taste as good as they did when I was a kid. LOL Liz switched me to Citrical. I was taking Viactive but I much rather swallow pills. I did ask Dr. Gagner about the anesthesia problem and he said that it wasn't me, it was the drugs. hit it right on the head...Thanks, ! Dr. Gagner said they have to make sure all the muscles stay relaxed so that they can do the surgery and they use quite a bit of drugs. So, I am happy with that explaination. My next appointment is October 10. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I should have bloodwork done before my visit or do they do it there? I forgot to ask how that works. Thanks. Hugs, Hunter BPD/DS 6/18/01 Dr. Gagner Starting BMI 61 As of 7/11/01 BMI 54 ---- 40lbs lost forever!

Guest guest
: have the bloodwork done 2 weeks prior to your 3 month check-up. That way gagner can go over the results with you. If they didnt give you a form for the bloodwork, have Ivonne mail one to you. Congrats on your checkup. I was there yesterday too -- in the morning (10 am appt). Guest guest
Thanks, Jill. My appointment was at 10 am as well...but I didn't get there until 11 am. Traffic was pretty bad and then we got lost (on foot, lol) looking for the right floor. I had the 4th floor stuck in my head...then my hubby said, " Oh no, I am sure it is the 6th. " And 6 floors later we arrived. LOL Congrats on your checkup too. I can't wait for my 3 month check up. :-) Take care, Hunter BPD/DS 6/18/01 Dr. Gagner Starting BMI 61 As of 7/11/01 BMI 54 ---- 40 lbs gone forever! > : > have the bloodwork done 2 weeks prior to your 3 month check-up.
