Just wondering if anyone had Dr. Dobbs contact information, email, phone, still

floating

around. We are still struggling with . He is 20 months now and we still

can't get his

feet to neutral. I thought we were able to with the botox treatment, but I

think that was just

me getting hopeful. It has helped his plantar reflex, but that's about it,

which indicates that

there is something else going on. If it turns out to be just the scar tissue

from past

surgeries, Dr. Ponseti had talked about lengthening the scars. But if it's

more...then we are at

a loss. He's never treated feet like these and maybe a fresh perspective of

someone he highly

recommends would be the best route right now. On the plus side, if you stand

him up, hold

him til he gets his balance and then walk behind him so he can regain his

balance if needed,

he can walk up to 40 steps, but they are hard steps. Overcompensating because

of his

tightness.

Thanks a lot,

,

I'm sorry to hear about 's progress. I think the last time we heard

from you he had just started swimming physical therapy. I don't have Dr.

Dobbs info directly but I'm sure someone will chime in soon. Also it is

on the Ponseti website under qualified physicians. So he is walking

some!!!! That is a step in the right direction (no pun intended)!!!

LOL!!!

It is great to hear from you. Please let us know what happens with Dr.

Dobbs.

Thanks , It is frustrating, it seems we go up and down, up and down. He

is taking

steps though. If you hold him up and position him, he's good. But getting up

himself off

the floor, he won't attempt. The formation of his feet really concern me too.

He has no

ankles whatsoever, and I know his scarring is really tight for him to stretch

out. I'm just

not sure what the right course of action is, but I do know we need to do

something, the

baileys is getting expensive. :)

One step at a time! :) (definitely pun intended!) LOL
