Guest guest
Did anyone have (or request) a transverse incision (across instead of up and down). Can you share some details about that? I have read that a transverse incision is less painful and that a midline incision can restrict pulmonary function. (My info comes from www.residentnet.com/private/clinic2.htm ) In my case there will be the repair of a hiatal hernia and that may force the choice to midline. LAP is not available from my doc and my consult is not until September. Any information greatly appreciated. Thanks. Sue McN.
