Hi again group,

I have been trying to figure this out. I am afraid it may be a virus. I replied to here ost and it was returned as not her address, I checked properties and it is some strange address. I went back to the original e-mail I thought I got from her and on properties her e-mail address is there. Does any one out there have a clue, as I surely don't. Again I apologize for this and i won;t bother the group with it anymore, but just wanted to warn you that I could have be contagious???? But I am not mean and did not intentionally send that e-mail.

Darlene,

it is easy to fake an address

and to send mail that purports to come from another person. That

is the way that people who send viruses operate, for example.

Also, some viruses or worms replicate through the Internet by

infecting a computer and then getting additional addresses from the

address book of the e-mail application (often MS Outlook).

Then they send mail containing the virus or worm shotgun style to all

addresses in the book, and so on.

Are you using outlook? If you are chances are its a virus you have on your

computer and it emailed all your addresses in your addressbook. I've had that

happen. It will not show up in your sent mail in most cases...at least that was

my experience. You need to run a virus check on your computer (go to Mcafee.com

and try their trial if you dont have one) and then clean your harddrive...McAfee

will tell you how...its not hard.
