Guest guest
Hello everyone I mostly lurk but I have posted a few times. I thank all of the supportive members on this list, I have learned quite a bit of information. My fat story is similar to every other story so I won't go into it. However, I did gain over 100 lbs when I became ill with fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed about 7 years ago and I gained the weight in about 2years. I believe this happened because I stopped moving. I have a good deal of chronic pain but still I do try to get aerobic excercise 4 times a week. My question: has anyone with fibromyalgia had the ds surgery? What happened after you started looseing weight? Did it go slowly? Did you regain energy and stamina? What about the flue like symptoms are they still a problem? I know that dropping 150-200 pounds will make my life better. I just don't want to be unrealalistic about the pain. I can't help hoping that the fibromayalgia, in my case, is a co-morbidity of my weight. I know this is hopeful thinking and that is why I would love to hear from someone who has been there. Thank you all for listening and for your on going good will. Sheryle consultation with Dr. Keshishian July 24th BMI67
