It's better than sugar too since you wont absorb it! ~~* AJ *~~ BMI 59 Surgery date 7/24/01 going self pay - Dr Baltasar Spain Check out the Bellingham Support for WLS WWW.lookin2bthin.homestead.com

Guest guest
, My personal cure for the day to day gains is to refuse to weigh more than once a month. This keeps from getting upset over the normal ups and down in weight and fluid fluctuations. I have never failed to see a significant loss when I weigh only monthly. And my significant other would look at the scale for me when I had to monitor for fluid retention. Apparently I was saved from knowing that I went up and down on a dialy basis. Lots of us load up on carbs and sugars and still lose. I don't have a sweet tooth but I do eat lots of carbs and fats. the weight seems to fall off some folks without effort and it seems to hang on for others. But with very few exceptions, we all lose the weight. I just *knew* I'd be a total failure at losing weight. And everyone I told said they'd had the same fear. So you are right there with the rest of us worrying about just what most of us worried about. Keep the faith, . And my view is that the scale is *not* your friend. in Seattle ---- Original Message ----- From: Happy2knowU2@... , thank you so kindly for your letter, i am only six weeks out and going nuts i am at 20 pds and today gained 5 and not eating alot of anything and not cheating as a fellow switch sister who is loading up daily on surgars and carbs, i am so scared this wont work,,any comments welcomed karen nyc
