yet another one of your posts about how bad things are for you and couldnt

control myself. I am sorry things went bad for you but bad things are happening

to alot of people right now as we speak . Deal with it and move on.

Not that any one here would care but I am leaving the list because I am not

getting any thing helpful from this list 90% of time due to the fighting, self

pity, and other things.

If anyone knows of any other Ds lists I sure would like to know.

Thanks,

There are other DS lists. However, as a lot, we tend to be fairly tolerant

of the foibles of others. Obvious exceptions are around. Most of us as MO

folks have had our fill of being criticized and badly treated. Sometimes we

do that to others-- treat them as badly as we have been treated. not

surprising. But we are all on this path together, Carol, seeking health and

weight loss. We have some bonds that for me are stronger than my

differences with others.

However, I've been on this list for many months. I got excellent info here

as a pre op by asking specific questions. And as a post po I've learned a

lot and shared some. There have been times when I was weary of the fighting

and just skipped lots of the posts. But in time there would be one gem that

made all the digging through worth it.

We do best on this list when we are responding to specific concerns of

others. At least that's my take on it. And that means being supportive and

respectful of the perceptions others have of their situations. I cringe

when I read " deal with it and move on " . All of us want to move on. But not

by being demeaned. But rather by being encouraged and supported. I can't

think of a single DS list where mean spiritedness is appreciated or wanted.
