Guest guest
Melisa, Don't know if anyone has answered this, but I will give my opinion. What we like for blisters..... Lanisoh lanolin cream and new skin. We mostly put new skin on red spots to help prevent skin break down. We put lanolin cream on the blister as soon as it starts to form. These blisters heal up so nicely without a big sore and all of that. Blisterbloc bandaids work well on heels, but are too big for other parts of the foot. We never had blisters on the heels just on the toes. That said, you need to figure out what is causin hte blisters. If you heal them, but don't fix the problem they will just come back. And they might not heal well if there is still much friction in the area. Could be a fit problem that needs attention, or the heel isn't down, or the tongue rubbing, or something as simple as getting the shoes on too loose or a baby pulling the foot out. So give us some more info to find the friction. And good luck Re: Re: My well-spoken, convincing friends... Hi, I am new to the club and have a 3 month old with blcf. He is now in the DBS and has developed blistering. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do? This is his first week in the shoes. Guest guest
Just my two cents here, but every email that is sent to me to I do respond to. I'm bad about keeping up with posts, so if something needs attention right away...I'm always willing to badger someone! LOL I've never been shy with my words either. And thanks Naomi for forwarding them on to me. I did email her, but never got a response. > Hi all, > I just wanted to make an observation, I know that a large majority of > us are also members of the " clubfoot " group, but I have noticed > lately that a lot of our eloquent and very persuasive advice has been > missing from that board.
