CoQ10 without oil

We are trying to determine what brands or suppliers of Coenzyme Q10

offer the product in large dosages without oil (and NOT chewable).

We tried the chewable CoQ10 600 mg tablets and the girls detest it.

So far all of the capsules the pharmacy has been able to obtain have

the product mixed with an oil. My girls are restricted to a maximum

of 20 G of fat/day. With a CoQ10 dose of 1800mg/day, lies was

getting was too much fat just from her supplement leaving almost

nothing for her actual diet. Plus the oil remains in her stomach for

many hours after she takes the capsules so we really don't know what

her absorption has been.

The pharmacist is very willing to try and get what we need. The

issue becomes one of knowing what product to buy. The literature he

has available isn't the best in indicating what the binders are so

he's made several attempts to receive the product and find the oil is

present. Our Medicaid will only pay if we obtain the product from a

pharmacy which further limits the options.

Our son gets caplets and you pop them open and mix the powder

with icecream or pudding. Is this what you mean by chewable? There

is no taste (we tried it). If you are interested in this, I would be

happy to get you more info and a contact to our pharmacy.

Joanne,

Sorry just found your post and went to look. Lucas' LiQ-10 syrup contains less than 1g of fat in 1 tsp of the double strength that is = to 100 mg dose in that 5 ml. Hope that helps. It is the Epic4health product. It can be found on www.epic4health.com. HTH, Loriannjoannekocourek wrote:
