Guest guest
Asenath isn't the best at wanting her hair done. She mostly wears her hair down now. When she was younger we had to keep it up in pig tails or she would tie her hair in knots from twisting and rubbing due to her migraines. It was so bad we finally cut her hair real short. After finding Dr. Whiteman and getting her on the cocktail, her migraines became much less severe and so we were able to regrow her hair to what you see in the photo, but she doesn't like me to touch her hair much. On the other hand, I have an African American daughter that I have braided hair on since she moved into our home at 13 months of age and she loves to have hers done. She will sit for long periods to have hers done. (Thankfully!) My older girls would sit for a couple of hours while I braided their hair when they were young. I would do the real tiny braids that took WAY too long, but made cute hairdos and poodle-styled hair after the braids were removed. They had no problem holding still, but they aren't like Asenath. Asenath's cognitive issues also cause her to be very impatient and overly sensitive to the procedure causing it very hard to accomplish, so it's a rarity to do complex hairdos on her. Thanks for your complement. She has always been a real cutie. The steroids have changed her look a ton, but her big eyes captivate people. I am sweet on her, LOL!
