Guest guest
Terri, I am on the run at the moment so do not have time for long reply. Most of the pain sounds like gas to me, but also the wringing feeling is what I got from a gluten (wheat in bread) sensitivity. I am now 10 weeks out, and I just tried bread again at a lunch today, and I got the squeezies all over again, but not as bad as when I was just a few weeks out. Also some slight nausea along with the squeezies. So, it could be a gluten sensitivity. Some people get them. In addition, others get lactose intolerance (from milk), and take Lactaid. Also, try to take some Acidophilus capsules (to repopulate your gut with good bacteria). Finally, I found some relief from charcoal tablets, but of all that gunk, I think that Acidophilus helped the most (thanks, Duffy!). If it keeps on too long CALL YOUR SURGEON. Amy's anastomosis at her duodenum was infected, and if she had not called her doc, she would have been up the creek. Gotta run. Hope this helps. --Steve --
