I have Primary Carnitine Deficiency, and during pregnancy my

carnitine levels dropped dramatically. I was taking Carnitor

6000mg/day, and my carnitine levels were still in the single digits.

They didn't return to normal for almost a year, even with Carnitor.

Carnitine is completely safe to take during pregnancy.
