Guest guest
I was just curious....has anyone else had issues with the highchairs at restaurants when your child is wearing the FAB? If so, how do you work around it? I am so annoyed right now! All of the highchairs up here are those stupid wooden things with a strap in between the legs. Aleksander, although close to reduced wear, is still in the FAB 23 hours a day and we can't ever use a restaurant highchair. First the chair is too narrow to fit the bar through, and even if it were wide enough, they have permanently attached straps between the legs. I'm so fed up with this, and all of our experiences are making me hyper aware of how difficult things must be for others with special needs. Why don't these manufacturers take these things into consideration? I know they are making the " safest product at the cheapest price " but come on! We ended up buying a booster seat type thing that we can strap onto the restaurant chairs. We get the funniest looks from people when we put him in our own chair, but I'm kind of hoping the attention will bring awareness. Thanks for listening to me whine. I've about had it with people staring, the struggles with highchairs and everything else with this thing. I can't wait for bathtime tonight so I can see his perfect little feet and remind myself why we are doing this!
