Re: Which Iowa City Doctors do you prefer/reccomend

Usually Dr. Morcuende does Dr. Ponseti's surgeries... Dr. Ponseti is coaching

him to take his place one day... as if anyone ever could:) I understand that Dr

Morcuende actually performs the surgery, but Dr Ponseti assists. I would make

the Appt with Dr Ponseti... if he recommends surgery, he will schedule it with

Dr. Morcuende which could take a couple hours or a couple days till you're in

the operating room, but not more than that, I believe.

I was going to recommend you go anyways too!! Go see Dr. Ponseti. Course

never saw him

down there in the clinic unless dr. p specifically asked him to be there.

I'm not really sure where to start. I'm guessing call and set up an

appoinment with Dr. Ponseti, then call Dr. Herzenberg and have a copy

of Collin's records sent out to Dr. Ponseti. Then call the insurance

company to get permission togo for a second opinion (or does Iowa set

that up for you I have Aetna I'm not sure), then call Angel Flights &

Mc House. Has anyone used any other discounted or free

flight out of NJ area to Iowa before besides Angel Flights? Do you

usually all leave the day you fly in with Angel Flights or stay the

night in Iowa, then go home the next day, etc. If there is anything

wrong order. I think I will start the phone calls either tommorow

afternoon or Thursday morning (I have a meeting tommorow morning for
