Guest guest
I have always so similarities in our two girls' looks as well. The steroids caused Asenath to gain about 20 lbs. in one year so the chubby cheeks have been quite a change in her, but before the steroids she was so tiny and thin looking that I appreciated the fuller look. (Except for the times she looked like she would pop if touched.) I am wondering what she will look like in another half of a year when the water weight starts to go away. It will be quite strange to see her slim again. She eats virtually nothing so the g-tube provides most of her calories. Your daughter looks like she is having some fun with bracelets or some type of colorful objects. She looks so much like an older version of Asenath. Thanks for sharing the photo. See www.caringbridge.org/ia/mitomomof9 and this link to see a real look into Mito using a photo collage of my girls at www.heartbeatsformito.org Darla: mommy to Asenath (4) Mito, CNS Vasculitis, strokes, migraines, seizures, G-tube, hypotonicity, disautonomy, SID, dev. delays, asthma, cyclic vomiting... Zipporrah (12 months) Mito, strokes, neuro-motor planning dysfunction, SID, GERD, 100% G-tube fed, asthma, trach issues, aberrant subclavian artery, disautonomy, hypo & hypertonicity, migraines, possible seizures, dumping syndrome, iron deficiency... Luke (16), Leah (14), Rachael (12), Isaac (10), Tirzah (8), Kezia (3), & Marquis (2) (some with Mito symptoms) Re: two photos of the girls taken about a week and a half ago. > They are too cute, Darla!
