Guest guest
Hello everyone, My doc is telling me one thing, my body is telling me another. I'm on 2g of cellcept/day...1g in the morning & another at night and from the looks of the lesions on my hands, the sarc is active again. But that's besides the point. I'm wondering what type of side effects those of you who have taken cellcept have experienced. I'm dealing with terrible insomnia, peripheral edema (swollen, painful hands & feet) and tremendous hip / low back pain. My doc tells me he has never heard of cellcept causing these side effects even though I pointed out studies by Roche which indicate that similiar problems were reported by more than 25% of the patients in a controlled test. If these aren't side effects than I have to wonder out loud if the sarcoid has inflitrated the joints as it sometimes does. The insomnia is anyone's guess... Thanks to everyone in advnce. Peace, Tony
