Guest guest
I had a nice long talk with my primary about the neuo stuff going on. I was trying to give her enough info to give me the neuo referral without her wanting to put me in a nursing home. It worked she is going to refer me to the neuo I asked for. Now to get my records transferred. I am sure I'll end up paying for them And now...my daughter has decided that we need to find a home that has a "mother in law's" quarters. I am not sure if I have shared with you all that I live in the house that I did as a kid. I left home at 18 and was a military wife for years and years...then returned when my Mom died 27 years later and got the old house. My husband, daughter, her husband and myself as well as a few grandkids to hammer away..anyway we tore out most of the inside of the house and renovated it. I've been living here for the last 4 year and I love it ...but since my husband passed away I've been living alone the last few years. The last year has brought several medical crises and the osteoarthritis is worsing. I am probably facing two surgeries this fall one on my hand and one on my knee.... and so now she wants me to sell/rent and move. Really caught me off guard. I know she is thinking of the best for me but I don't know if I can leave my ole home place. But the truth is I often wonder if I should be living aloneBut hey....I got the referral to neuro...maybe they can help me make the decision..HugsRuth

Guest guest
Ruth I know how you feel a little bit. I wanted to move to a 2 family house but am taking a handicapped apartment instead. My health finally won over my stubborness & pride. Not that I am saying you should sell your house just that it sucks what this disease does to us.Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan - 265 pairs needed by 9/15/07 http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@...
