Guest guest
Good. Like I said, he is a good doc, but I'm still a little salty about our visits. I suppose it's possible that he didn't know that the 's existed, but he interned with one Dr y at Children's Healthcare of Atl. who I know believes the s to be a waste of time and money. (Which is just crazy.) We were stations at Andersen AFB, Gu.When I found out about Gabe's feet via ultrasound, I couldn't imagine dropping off a kid with casts at the CDC, so I separated. I think that may have been the second best decision I've made concerning Gabe's care, I couldn't have gone to Atl or to Iowa otherwise. I stayed in Ga with family till my husband was PCS'd to Hill AFB, Ut. I suppose for check ups we'll be traveling to Boise to see Dr Showalter. As long as things are going good anyway... If I notice a problem, back to Iowa we go. It's been rough trying to manage the quite dramatic pay cut from being married mil to mil, but it's been worth it. I'm sure you'l love Hawaii. It's soooo beautiful, and unlike Guam, there always someting to do or some place to go. I certainly wouldn't have minded had they sent us there.Good luck with your PCS! Lori wrote:I definatly will. I used to be very active here when Elijah was younger. Now that he's mobile and we have an upcoming overseas move, I dont have as much time to devote here... but I got alot of great information very early on so Im not going to be an easy target for a scalpel happy Doc.
