Christie's story on TV-

, I saw Christie's Story just the other night. I was so

uncomfortable and disappointed with the program. Very little of it

explored WLS, even her specific procedure. It was mostly centered

around the trajedy of her life and the poor choices she made in

general (non WLS related). My daughters watched it with me, I had

expected it to be an opportunity for them to learn.

I was concerned that it left the impression that this is how most

MO folks are who seek out WLS. I have found that not to be the case,

in fact quite the opposite.

I dont know who produced the program, or what their point was, but I

sure didnt like it. JMHO
