Rose I will be sure to mention the Focalin to Dr Lower on Thursday when I get my next treatment. They add some junk to the Cytoxan but I am assuming you take tablets?Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan - 265 pairs needed by 9/15/07 http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@...

Rose,

Can you add this to the LINK library.

Thanks,

Tracie

PS. I have terrible chemobrain for about 3 days following my Remicade. Noises, ceiling fans spinning, lights, 's voice-- all make me want to choke something. I also get the leg weakness, but it resolves after a couple of days.

Neuro thinks that it's that the drug is effecting the area of the brain that is screwed up with sarc-- and once it settles down, then I can balance out to less pain and more clear thinking until a week prior to the next infusion. (Which is next week, so monitor me guys--LOL!)

Yeah, , I take capsules, one a day. I started out on 10mg for about a week without noticing any change, then increased to 20mg & could tell a difference within a few days. I've been on the 20mg XR for about 2 months now. I haven't had any side effects that I can tell.

After the Cytoxan my balance is even worse. I stagger & wheel around like a drunk. I also sometimes get bad headaches. It feels like somebody with huge hands is squeezing my skull. And of course the memory is way worse. I can get pretty grumpy & fly off the handle.
