Well you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call me ny, or you can call me Ray Jay... I don't remember where that came from, but I remember my parents laughing about it on a TV show when I was younger. Anywho, my actual first name is Naa Koshie. You are more than welcome to call me that or Vivacious Goddess is the mood strikes you. Because my first name is 2 words, I get called by either one, or both. Because I'm bossy I get called other things, but I ignore that. And you are right, noone (sp?) has found multiple uses for tobacco yet besides the most heinous. Some of my family have been growing tobacco in N.Carolina since slavery was

abolished and none of them have come up with any alternative uses for it.Rose wrote: Do you prefer to be addressed as Naa, Koshie, or Naa Koshie? I've always meant to ask, but somehow didn't get it done. Anyway, some years ago I was reading an article about the tobacco industry. Supporters were saying how many people depended on tobacco, from the growers & workers, to all the support industries. Another

person was quoted as saying something like this, "If Washington Carver could find 300 uses for peanuts, surely someone can find another use for the tobacco plant!" That makes a lot of sense to me, and yet, years later, as far as I know, tobacco has just one purpose. (well, besides making tobacco company executives rich, that is.) Naa Koshie,

That phrase came from a guy that was on a variety show, can't remember

which one, and he always started out with you can call me Ray or you can

call me Jay.....

Terri G.

Well you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call me

ny, or you can call me Ray Jay... I don't remember where that came

from, but I remember my parents laughing about it on a TV show when I

was younger.
