Lenny,

Thanks for writing this. I have been evaluating my situation after 9

weeks post op. I have decided that I can not compare myself with

others because it has despaired me in the past. My body is going to

do exactly what it wants to do when it wants to do it. However, I am

not to stop exercising, eating healthier, etc, etc just because the

scale is not moving.

I have set some goals for just the month of August. One of them is

not to weight until I go into the doctor's office near the end of

August for my 3 month appt. I know that my body is changing and

losing, however, alot of times, we look to the scales for guidance.

Lost between 35-40 lbs

Dropped from size 24-26 to 18-20

lenny b this is an excellent way to think and live- i am scheduled for surgery on sept12 with dr. pomp bpdds- i will try to live the way you arew after the surgery
